So we got this email from Machinima saying that we had to submit the fourth episode by the end of Wednesday (today) rather than Friday when we usually do it. I kind of had to cram everything, but it turned out really good. Probably one of the funniest episodes so far in my opinion, so be on the lookout for it this sunday. I did not, however, find the time to finish the intro on the new deadline. Oh joy. Whatever, people don't seem to mind the shitty one we have now, so I doubt they'll start caring any time soon. Still, shooting to finish it for the next one.
Also, I'm still trying to figure out what happened with last week's episode. Don't get me wrong. I'm not complaining, we still got like, 70,000 on the first day which is good in itself. But compared to the last 2 weeks where we got 120,000 and 140,000 it just seems a bit... off. Was there some big event or something last Sunday that distracted attention from it or something? Was it just not as good as the other ones? Anyone know?

Youtube's viewing system is inaccurate and overall shit. That's what happened.
It wasn't as good. The jokes were almost exactly the same as the past two episodes. It doesnt have much of the feel that your own stuff has. I laughed during the castlevania scene and that was it.
I honestly loved ep 3 more than 2. Ep 2 didn't really make me laugh that much except for the guy who sneaks into people's houses and smells their dicks, but I honestly have no idea what the fuck happened with ep 3.

I thought that part two was the best so far. The girl on XBOX LIVE and the guy who breaks into people's houses and smells their dicks were favorites to just about everyone I've talked to who watches the series. part 3 just didn't have any of those moments.
The jokes are getting old, your getting less and less creative. Your working so hard on SNI and you think its awesome but its just not as good as your other stuff.
I think it was the little big planet scene where the girl was singing that was the reason people didn't give it another viewing (Hence half the views compared to the others) honestly it was just boring until Dex shows up.
That and the Mario scene, the joke of that just took too long as well. I see those as the issues to the episode. Everything else was just as comical genius as the previous 2.
So yeah just avoid those and you should be good. Honestly SNI is getting the most views Machinima has in ages. Even though you'll be splitting the money with Dex, I cannot imagine how much you guys are getting for this. (Combat Wombat told me a bit about machinima contracts)
meh, change up the jokes and put more time into it is all i have to say :T
I thought that all the episodes were great even if they were all a bit repetitive, but aren't all the great machinimas exessively repetitive? red vs blue? Arbi n chief? The real challenge is making the jokes in different ways and all the gags in SNI were almost perfectly excecuted, so I have no complaints...except for when the heavy guy in team fortress got shat on in his face...that wasn't actually that funny, more of a shock.
I liked them all except for the mario joke
No offence to you, but if I'm to be as blunt as possible, not all, but a majority of the skits just seemed pathetic and witless. And being a fan of your work which usually gives me a laugh, I'd recommend taking some time to storyboard and develop with effort. As a fan of yours I'm hoping to see improvement in the near future. However on the positive I thought the snake skits the xbox live girl skit and the guy who breaks into peoples houses to smell their dickswere hilarious. And i'd personally like to see more of that kind of stuff in the future.
I thought 3 was the best... I don't know, Lyle.
