Sup. So yeah here's the lowdown.
1. The SNI intro: I honestly don't think anyone minds the current one. I'll still finish it, but it'll be the intro for the next season or something.
2. Master Chief: I've kind of decided that war is the best possible way the season could go out. That said, I'm waiting for reach to start season 2.
3. Brawlgasm: Does anyone care anymore? Honestly? Meh, maybe when I start college again and am more pressed for time I'll finally do the audio for 8 or 9 or whatever we're on and send it to tom, just so I don't have a 9 month "do jack shit nothing" slump again.
4. Lead: Canceled. Uncharted has the most pain in the ass camera and recording method ever. No rewind or real time recording makes setting up shots almost sheer luck, and having to literally assemble a person online for every character and deal with skype and mouth flapping is just way too hectic. If they fix it in 3, maybe I'll pick the project back up again. Maybe it'll re emerge in some other form, but I know even if I where able to force myself to make the first episode, there's no way I would make it through a 10-13 episode series.
5. Comic con: So yeah, Machinima wants me to do this panel with them in San Diego on the 23rd, and I'm going to be there. So if you want to go to the panel I think it's at like 7:30 PM on Friday or something. And I'll probably be killing time at the convention all day, so if you want to say hi or whatever, I'll be the spr cool kid wearing a "Sanity not Included" T shirt. Actually, sarcasm aside, I suppose I won't be dressed as a hobbit, so I still might be considered a "cool kid" by comic con standards.
6. Animation: I really want to get more into this eventually. Maybe when the first season of SNI ends. I want to start my own series that isn't a machinima so that I can create original characters and storylines without having them be 7 foot robot people walking through the same locations you've seen a million times using preset in-game animations that everyone is tired of. To be honest, machinima can be fun and entertaining, but I don't by any means take it seriously or put it above any other medium except maybe audioplays, but that's a different story which I could rattle off a whole rant on. Maybe I'll do that sometime. Long story short: Animated series; eventually, but not soon.
7. Sanity not Included: we posted a music video this week rather than the episode because I was sick as shit and my voice sounded like an emo solid snake so I couldn't voice anything. Episodes will resume as usual next Sunday.

Okay, I've got to call you out on some bullshit. Note that, before this mini rant, I in no way enjoy the work of rinachan and scoot, nor dislike the majority of your work. But SNI is the most hypocritical piece of garbage I've ever seen. You dislike random memes being spouted everywhere, but yet in SNI all you do is spout random words, the least funny dickjokes (and I damnwell know from your other work you can make funny ones), random ear rape that isnt even so ear rapey its funny, just so ear rapey its bad, and these shitty memes Dex seems to often create. Is it just me, or does whenever you work with Dex, the result ends up being a hypocritical piece of garbage? Gears No More was just as shitty as MegaBlueBlaster's serious brawl machinima shit. White Pheonix is the only exception to this rule I've seen, except Dex's brawl machinima work, which is surprisingly funny, but like White Pheonix, every funny thing Dex makes stops getting episodes.
So basically you gotta try harder on SNI. Its something that only a twelve year old could find funny. Its not clever, it doesnt have your usual style, I assume these scripts were written long before the episode is made, but they seem liek they were written in a day. Either get your shit together, or you should drop it. Or continue doing it and make money from making mass garbage only a 12 year old could enjoy, which is surprisingly similar to the Virtual Smash fags and Rina-chan we all know you despise.

anyway so I'm sad to hear about lead, its a shame they didn't have a friggin rewind button when it should be so obvious to have one. I'm assuming Master Chief will make a return with Reach right? You probably already know but heads up about Reach, Elite's are very limited in just about everything in Reach (No Customization, and you'll have to adjust gametypes to play as them.) So if you got plans with Arbiter in the next or whoever fair warning on that. Other than that its great. Mark 6 armor will be in Reach and everything else will make things done in Machinima all the easier.
I look forward to the next of the master chief series, and SNI 6 was pretty good.
@vurtax I'm not too worried about that. Halo's gametype customization will probably get rid of most of those problems. As far as the elite armor type thing, have you seen this yet?

My only concern is the color. Hopefully I'll be able to customize that too. If not there probably is some sort of "force color" setting. And if worst comes to worst I'll just make arbiter a certain armor variant that only he'll have.
@guy who wrote the novel thing, jesus fuck dude, you miss the point completely. I would like to address this, as you put enough effort into formulating your opinion that I feel it deserves a response.
The GNM/Megablue comparison: First of all, GNM isn't my series. I voiced in it, but writing wise I did very little.
Second, GNM was Dex kind of finding his stride. He wanted to make a story driven series that mixed comedy with a compelling story. It got too far to the serious side towards the end, yes, but after it was done he knew where he went wrong, what to avoid in the future, and how to balance everything out a little better.
Third, the characters in Gears of war are human, the enemies are monsters, the setting is dark and gritty, the violence is gratuitous, and the deaths are brutal. Brawl has very few characters that aren't cartoonishly goofy or disgustingly adorable. Pikachu shooting sunshine magic out of his butthole should never even be experimented with as a serious medium.
Memes: Ok, you obviously have no clue what a meme is. Something that's random isn't a meme. A meme is one established thing that's universally known through repetition. My biggest problem with using memes is that it isn't even your idea to begin with. You're taking something that everyone has heard a billion times and repeating it. It requires no writing at all whatsoever, and everyone has already fucking heard it.
I take it when you talk about "Dex's memes" you mean "no won't let you?" It's more of a reoccurring one dimensional character than a meme. He goes around not letting people do things. Every time it's a different thing that he responds to differently to achieve the same goal. It could arguably be a meme, but even then, that's Dex, not me, and he came up with it to begin with.
Dick Jokes: I'm honestly confused here. SNI has the best dick jokes I've ever come up with in it. If "Dude, let's touch penises" doesn't do it for you, I don't know what will.
Ear Rape: There's yelling. I don't know if you would consider that "ear rape." I've never made a skit that's just purposeless loud static noise.
SNI's humor: See, this is another thing that gets me. SNI has so many skits with so many different types of humor that lumping them all together in a broad statement like that doesn't really make sense. Of course they ARE shorts, meaning we can't construct complex situations or elaborate satires, so yes, maybe overall pound for pound they may be a bit more blunt, but even then we'll have slower paced skits like the "dick smeller" one.
As for randomness, some of it is really random, but it makes sense in its own context. For example on the third one there's a skit where a character asks another one why he doesn't like a specific gun, to which he responds by initiating a weird sounding tribal war call that everyone else joins in on, implying that every character other than the one that asked the question understands why he can't use that specific gun, and that questioning it is an act of heresy. It's not normal or expected by any stretch of the imagination, but it has coherence in and of itself.
Maybe absolutely none of it is your type of humor, and that's your opinion, but don't compare me to Rina-Chan. Funny or not, at least I come up with my own ideas.

Honestly all the episodes are really good, the only reason I think some of them aren't as good as the original is because of one or two sketches that bring it down.
The whole ABC sketch is by far my favorite one yet. I was ready to nominate you for the next nobel prize. I was about to die laughing at "I NEED MORE MICROSOFT POINTS!!!"
I'm hoping you can at sometime squeeze in your video "You best not assert disingenuously" and possibly some of "Feces Diabetes" into SNI as you did with "herpes the musical" cause they deserve more views.
Man, I've been using the "ACTION ONLY HAS ONE NAME" audio clip in Counter-Strike to fuck with people for a while now (well, it's been a while since I last did that). Now, nobody will ever get the joke. Which is kind of a good thing, I guess. Makes it funnier in a lot of ways.

SNI is pretty cool I guess. Not as good as MC or even Brawlgasm, but each episode makes me laugh at least 3 times which is enough for me. None of them will ever even compare to the dick-smelling sketches. Those were fucking priceless.
