Sanity Not Included 2 + Season 1 Theme Download

Sup tiny relative population of my fanbase that actually reads this.

Sanity Season 2 starts this Sunday. We're really upping our game this season and it's been hectic as fuck, but we're closing in on the release date and I'm really proud of the work that we've done.

Cory (http://www.youtube.com/user/Spazkidin3D) AKA the guy who did the ep 13 animation on the first season is doing all the animations this time around. This means that I can just do the audio at the beginning of the week and then focus on my machinima skits, meaning we can do a lot more with them. That's all I'm going to say for now.

The theme song for the first season is being retired, so I figure to give it a proper sendoff I'll finally listen to all you people that have been asking me for a download.

If this looks like a wall of text, here's the tl;dr version: Go see scott pilgrim, it's awesome and it's different from any other movie you've ever seen.

Anyways, as someone who totally thought this movie was going to suck balls, I was blown away by how fucking awesome Scott Pilgrim was.

This MAY go into spoiler territory, though it's so mild that watching a trailer would spoil just as much so read on.

The basic premise of Scott Pilgrim is that the protagonist (whom the movie is named after) is some slacker douchebag who is a complete dick to everyone, and some girl he doesn't know named Ramona literally starts showing up in his dreams. This causes him to become instantly infatuated with her when he finds out she actually exists. Turns out, said girl has 7 evil ex boyfriends, and from there the movie turns into what is an extremely awesome cinematic experience, formatted in a retro videogame style context.

I was very "eh" on the premise too, but trust me, it's nowhere near as gay as it sounds. Once you get past the lame first 20 minutes or so, it's nonstop concentrated kickass.

There are three major things that really stand out in this movie.

First of all, it's EXTREMELY well done. There are fight scenes that are so well choreographed that they make the matrix look like pussy shit. The cinematography, special effects, and script are all awesome. It's funny, the characters are great, and all the actors played them very well, even Michael Cera, who I usually hate. Also, I've seen comic book effects and crap in movies, but this is the first time I've ever seen videogame elements added to the mix, and definitely the first time I've seen either done well.

Second, the whole thing has this very satirical undertone. When put into retrospect, Michael Cera (possibly the scrawniest looking human being in existence) flipping around with insane dragon ball z powers and beating the crap out of ninjas and shit is so improbable and retarded that actually seeing it happen is fucking funny in and of itself. It's very similar to Master Chief: War in this sense. It's over the top, it's cool, and it's so fucking stupid that watching it is just plain fun.

Lastly, It's different from any other movie you have ever seen, ever. This is a one of a kind experience. It's completely original in its presentation and style, and that really holds so much value to me. This is why I saw Scott Pilgrim instead of "The Expendables." Also, from what I heard "The Expendables" kinda sucked anyways, so I suppose I dodged a bullet on that one.

The reason I even bothered to do this review is because the movie is flopping at the box office. It's situations like this that are the reason almost every movie out recently has been a remake of an old movie or a lame cash in sequel. The only way we're going to start seeing good, fresh ideas in Hollywood is if we actually go and see the movies that offer something original.

Also, rest of the world, when everyone on the planet is going to go see a movie, can you please inform me, because I've yet to see inception and I don't really feel like going to the movies by myself.

In relation to the comics
To give you an idea of how good I thought this movie was, I actually toerr- borrowed the comics from a friend and read through them all, as I heard that the movie left a lot of stuff out. I've never read an actual comic book in my life, so the fact that I was interested enough to pick up the comic is saying a lot in and of itself.

All I have to say is, almost everything that's good about the comic is in the movie. Everything lame about the comic was cut out. 90% of the great moments from the comics where recreated word for word in the movie. The other 10% where jumbled up and applied in different contexts. for example, they took one of the comic's most boring "ex battles" (#4) and substituted in some of the dialog/situations from a fight that was cut out, which made it a bit less faithful but much better.

Most of the stuff that was cut was lame "rocky relationship" drama between Scott and his Girlfriend or completely irrelevant filler of people hanging out with each other. The only real loss in transition is the final battle, and even then, the movie version wasn't worse, just a bit different.

One thing that I DID get out of the comic that you might want to know was something that was in the movie but wasn't really explained. Basically, the weird shit with the doors and crap, those lead to an alternate reality called "subspace". Ramona uses a subspace highway that happens to lead through Scott's mind, which is why she shows up in his dreams.

If you liked the comics, see the movie. If you've never read the comics, see the movie and if you're REALLY interested pick them up, just know that you aren't going to get much more out of them.

Sup. So yeah here's the lowdown.

1. The SNI intro: I honestly don't think anyone minds the current one. I'll still finish it, but it'll be the intro for the next season or something.

2. Master Chief: I've kind of decided that war is the best possible way the season could go out. That said, I'm waiting for reach to start season 2.

3. Brawlgasm: Does anyone care anymore? Honestly? Meh, maybe when I start college again and am more pressed for time I'll finally do the audio for 8 or 9 or whatever we're on and send it to tom, just so I don't have a 9 month "do jack shit nothing" slump again.

4. Lead: Canceled. Uncharted has the most pain in the ass camera and recording method ever. No rewind or real time recording makes setting up shots almost sheer luck, and having to literally assemble a person online for every character and deal with skype and mouth flapping is just way too hectic. If they fix it in 3, maybe I'll pick the project back up again. Maybe it'll re emerge in some other form, but I know even if I where able to force myself to make the first episode, there's no way I would make it through a 10-13 episode series.

5. Comic con: So yeah, Machinima wants me to do this panel with them in San Diego on the 23rd, and I'm going to be there. So if you want to go to the panel I think it's at like 7:30 PM on Friday or something. And I'll probably be killing time at the convention all day, so if you want to say hi or whatever, I'll be the spr cool kid wearing a "Sanity not Included" T shirt. Actually, sarcasm aside, I suppose I won't be dressed as a hobbit, so I still might be considered a "cool kid" by comic con standards.

6. Animation: I really want to get more into this eventually. Maybe when the first season of SNI ends. I want to start my own series that isn't a machinima so that I can create original characters and storylines without having them be 7 foot robot people walking through the same locations you've seen a million times using preset in-game animations that everyone is tired of. To be honest, machinima can be fun and entertaining, but I don't by any means take it seriously or put it above any other medium except maybe audioplays, but that's a different story which I could rattle off a whole rant on. Maybe I'll do that sometime. Long story short: Animated series; eventually, but not soon.

7. Sanity not Included: we posted a music video this week rather than the episode because I was sick as shit and my voice sounded like an emo solid snake so I couldn't voice anything. Episodes will resume as usual next Sunday.

SNI 4, finishing the intro, what happened?

So we got this email from Machinima saying that we had to submit the fourth episode by the end of Wednesday (today) rather than Friday when we usually do it. I kind of had to cram everything, but it turned out really good. Probably one of the funniest episodes so far in my opinion, so be on the lookout for it this sunday. I did not, however, find the time to finish the intro on the new deadline. Oh joy. Whatever, people don't seem to mind the shitty one we have now, so I doubt they'll start caring any time soon. Still, shooting to finish it for the next one.

Also, I'm still trying to figure out what happened with last week's episode. Don't get me wrong. I'm not complaining, we still got like, 70,000 on the first day which is good in itself. But compared to the last 2 weeks where we got 120,000 and 140,000 it just seems a bit... off. Was there some big event or something last Sunday that distracted attention from it or something? Was it just not as good as the other ones? Anyone know?

Anyways, I didn't get around to finishing the intro for the third episode because the flash segment for it was a bit demanding and I'm unfortunately slow as hell at animating and therefor couldn't finish both the intro and the skit. Fuck.

But on the plus side ep. 4's flash segment is really easy (and I mean really easy) to animate so provided I don't get distracted by the 12-13 games I just bought on steam all should go smoothly... ok maybe by ep 5.

Sup. You may have noticed I haven't been doing much recently. You may have also noticed Dex hasn't been doing much recently. The reason for this is that we've been working on a collaborative series called "Sanity Not Included." We've been fucking our working asses hard...uh i mean working our fucking asses off on the first three episodes. Once those are finished (which looks to be within the next week or two) they will be sent to machinima, and from there a new episode will be uploaded weekly for a season of 13 episodes. Not going to reveal to much about it yet, but rest assured you will fucking love it. More info to come.

Don't worry, I won't be scrapping my other series' or anything. I'm going to try to do one at least scene a week on my regular stuff, but depending how heavy college and other shit gets this is negotiable.

Good News and Shit News

I know you're supposed to give the bad news first and then ease it with the good news, but I don't give a fuck. So here's the good news. Last Sunday I completed my first flash (well, first coherent flash) and submitted it to machinima, but they haven't posted it yet, so I figured I would share a little snippet with you to pass the time. It is called "Proper Chief." It is short. Here is a screenshot of it.Aaaand that's all you get for now. It's been almost a week, so hopefully you won't have to wait too long to see the whole thing, but it's just a little goofy short thing so I wouldn't expect anything too amazing. Still, the semi-anonymous entity that is "guitarmasterx7" is at least doing shit again.

Now for the bad news. My xbox got what is called the "E73 Error" Which is basically just like the RRoD, but it isn't under warrenty, which means I have to shell out some money for a new xbox, which I really don't feel like doing. I've thought of a solution to it, but I digress, that will come with the trailer for proper chief I post on my channel when machinima finally stops draggin' ass and throws it up there. Oh by the way, don't bother telling me about those dumbass "home remedies" for the E73. I've tried all of them, they don't fucking work. Plus from what I hear even if it works you have to go through the same shit every time you use your xbox, and that is so many flavors of "not worth it."

And also, quick MC update. Obviously I'm not going to be able to do anything until I get my xbox back, but that's not what this is concerning. Since Halo Reach comes out later this year, and the first episode from season 2 could transition from halo 3 into Halo Reach really well, I figure I'll finish the last "season 1" episode, a "secret project" (which you're probably going to enjoy, but usually a secret project implies something more big or important than a regular episode, so if that's what you're expecting you're going to be disappointed) and then the "Season 2" will be in Reach. It'll work much better with the new look/feel of the episodes. Don't get me wrong the comedy won't change much, but the show will seem a lot more professional with an intro/outro and better camera work/voice acting ect.
Oh, and I feel like saying that Reach looks fucking amazing. I know the general consensus is that I'm a Halo fanboy or whatever so you're probably thinking "of course you would say that," but honestly, Halo would be nowhere near my "top 5 favorite videogames" list where I to make one. It's a pretty good game, but it isn't anything special. That is until you throw awesome shit like jetpacks and sprinting/dodge rolling and badass knife kills finishers into it. Then a balanced but bland FPS can be turned into something truly fucking awesome and I can't wait to get my hands on it.

God dammit, I feel like I don't even make videos anymore and all I do are updates. I have a fuck ton of unfinished projects right now. I've got the audio worked out for this flash thing and the next adventures of GMX7, both of which I have at least some of the visual suppliment done of as well. I'll have the audio for brawlgasm ready to send to tom tomorrow, I have the next like, 4 master chiefs scripted out, have all the voices for lead and finally figured out how I'm going to get filming to go smoothly, so right now I keep jumping schitzophrenically from one project to another getting tiny bits and pieces done at a time, I just need to somehow motivate myself to take initiative on just one and go with it.

Anyways, looking forward to Mass Effect 2 which comes out tomorrow (I might go to the midnight launch because I'm always up at midnight anyways and I doubt there will be a line out the door for mass effect) but I'm at a mental impass when it comes to the title of this game. For whatever reason whenever I say or type "Mass Effect" it always feels awkward and I get this gut feeling as if the name is a misspelling or disambiguation of "Massive Baby Attack" in the context that "Baby" is substituting an internal organ and a "baby attack" is some kind of potentially fatal muscle failure. No clue why. I don't even know where the phrase "Massive Baby Attack" came from in the first place. All I know is whenever I say "Mass Effect" it seems like I'm saying it wrong and it's missing a word. It just doesn't feel right. Kind of like saying LOL instead of laughing. Yes, people are homeless in Haiti, but I'm losing sleep over the notion and semantecs of "Massive Baby Attack." See this is why I wish I could turn my brain off.

Oh one more thing, on the mass effect "class" trailers, is it just me, of does that "Christina Norman" lady sound like Digitalph33r when he uses a pitch changer to warp his voice and pretend to be a girl. It's kind of creepy.

Woo, semester is over. I've got time to do stuff. I like doing stuff.

I've decided to switch gears a bit. I've tried on like, two separate occasions today and the day before to get a film crew together for uncharted but there's always that X factor of like, 2-3 people that I just can't seem to get to fill the game. Someone pointed out that there would probably be a lot more people who had the game after xmas, and that it would be a lot easier to get 10 people together after that point. That person is very, very right, though I can't remember who the fuck it was.

So rather than flail around constantly failing at what I'm trying to do like I've been doing, I figure I'll just take some time away from uncharted, work on the next Master Chief episode, do the audio for the next brawlgasm and give it to Tom, get some animation practice with flash, and by the time I'm done with that the whole Xmas and "ZOMG I DON'T WANT TO PLAY ANYTHING BUT MW2!" craze will wear down a bit and more people will have the game to help.

Don't get me wrong, I really want to MAKE lead, because I'm really satisfied with the stuff i've written for it so far, but honestly, right now the resources are so limited that trying to force it out only results in a whole lot of nothing getting accomplished, which aggrovates me just as much as it does you. I have so many fucking ideas and scripts that pile up around me that if I never had another idea in my life I could probably make videos for another year or two before running out of material. Though at the production rate I've been moving at it could probably hold out for like, 5.

I could probably ramble on like this all night, but if I where a bad demoman I wouldn't be here discussin' it with ya.

So yeah, I'm learning how to use flash right now. I plan on doing a series in it eventually, but not until I'm way better with it. As of now really the only thing I've animated is a giant dick that shoots laser beams, which says a lot about both my animation skills and maturity, but I'll probably do some shorts to get some practice sometime soon. Hopefully I can get good at it because you're much less limited in animation than something like machinima.

Anyways, a few announcements, since I usually do these in huge burst posts, so I'll bold the topics so you can pick and choose what you give a shit about.

Brawlgasm
First off, good news for brawlgasm fans. I didn't officially announce this (though I did imply it heavily) because I was pretty sure I would lose half my fanbase instantly, but honestly I was never really planning to make another brawlgasm again aside from maybe a half assed one like, a year down the line. However, a glimmering ray of hope that would do my work for me has emerged, and that is my good friend TomKitsune who will take over pretty much all the filming and editing for me. He is awesome and you should subscribe to him and shit.

So what does this mean? First of all, it means that the quality of it is going to go waaaaaaay up because honestly I care so little about brawl machinima that I would never put up with the pain in the ass engine long enough to make a cinematically appealing episode. Second, it will still keep it's trademark speed and randomness, really the ONLY thing that will change is that it will look better. I will still do all the audio work. Third, you now have to like tomkitsune if you like brawlgasm. You can hate him as a person, you can hate him as a writer, machinimator, or what have you, but if you like brawlgasm and are reading this you are hereby obligated to like Tom, because without him it wouldn't continue. Besides why the fuck would you not like tom? He's fucking awesome.

Lead
The first episode is going slow. I wrote the script for it before I had the game and as such I didn't really know the limitations of the engine, meaning to do certain things i have to trick the game and weasel around it with visual angles, shit of that nature. Not really a HUGE problem but it's a minor setback. I have to reshoot a scene and a couple of shots so i'm very unenthusiastic to do that because it just went sooo fucking well the last time. But anyways hopefully I can finish it within the next few weeks, though I could see it not getting finished until after the semester is over. Future episodes will go much better because I'll know what the fuck I'm doing and I won't write stuff that I can't DO.

Master Chief
OOOH fuck do I want to stop dealing with this pain-in-the-ass uncharted camera mode and go back to some good old fashioned halo shit. After the first episode of lead is done I'll get to work on Master Chief right away and I'll probably even finish it rather quickly being as I think halo machinima is really easy to do now.

Adventures of GMX7
There seems to be some confusion as to what this is. "Adventures of GMX7" is just sort of the name for really random shit that I do using myself as a character. The "Episodes" won't be called "Adventures of GMX7 episode 1" and so on, they will just be called something relating to their subject matter. For example, the first (and so far only existing) episode is Palinator. I'll probably make a playlist for shit like this that you can subscribe to and such.

Production in general
Ok, so I just learned that this semester ends on December 16th. So from then until about February or March I will have a shitload of free time. Granted I'm extremely lazy with machinima and shit because it's just sort of a side hobby that I kick around when I'm bored, but if everything goes according to plan youll see a couple of episodes and a few shorts in that time zone. Also, you should see an improvement in video quality as I'm getting a new TV some time this week and it more than likely will have outputs, meaning I will no longer have to run the cables through a distribution amplifier to capture footage. Yay.

Lead Trailer, updates, and shit

So yeah. I've been really fucking busy lately. College has completely taken over my life, I haven't gotten more than 3 hours of sleep a night or talked to anyone in the outside world in the last 2 months, so i haven't done anything at all on the next chief or the first episode of lead.

Not so sure about brawlgasm. When it comes to that I've never even been a fan of my own work, and now everyone expects brawl machinima to be a cinematic masterpiece. Honestly I really don't give a shit about it anymore, and if I put effort into it it's by far the most time consuming engine to record in, so I'm like "fuck that" at the moment. At this point I could probably make a much better episode of Chief or Lead with the same amount of time anyways, so it doesn't seem like a good time investment. The whole brawl machinima community has gone to shits in the last year or so with all the serious machinima featuring furries and lame anime plots, and it's not really a community that I'm eager to be associated with. I still have a back category of ideas for it so I might get around to them eventually, but if the future episodes seem half assed to the extreme don't be surprised. Then again brawlgasm has always been half assed to the extreme, so you might like that.

So I'm not going to be very productive for the next month or two. I'm not taking a winter session. Not sure when fall ends but when it does I'll probably produce a shitload of stuff and then slow down around spring. Oh well. At least I'm still more productive than shippiddge.

Oh yeah... I have this thing. How come I can never remember that this exists when I'm coherent. White Phoenix 3 is epically awesome. You don't really need to watch the previous episodes to get it, and it's fucking hilarious. I helped write it, did some improv, and voiced like, 5 characters. So check that out here.

Also, to any metal head like myself, The Dethalbum II was leaked onto the internet yesterday, and it is possibly the most brutal thing ever. Brendon Small's voice sounds a bit different in this one, it's like a cross between the old "cannibal corpse" thing and Randy Blythe from lamb of god. The result is extremely fucking awesome, albeit a bit unexpected.
Edit: most of the tracks have been deleted off the internet, but you could probably find them if you look hard enough. be sure to support the official release of the album on September 29th.

alright so you guys might be wondering "where the fuck is guitarmasterx7?" Well here's the deal. After fighting for about 2 months with pinnacle studio's tendency to lag profusely, my capture card decided that it didn't like me and flat out broke. So now I've ordered something called the "direct video transfer device" off ebay, it arrived 3 days ago and now I don't have to deal with any shitty programs, so I'm back in business. I've got a week to myself, so I'm going to spend it getting acquainted to my capture card and making a few shorts. Then I'm going to be gone on vacation for a week, then I'm going to try to crank out a master chief episode before I start college. Hopefully that won't occupy so much of my time that I machinimate even less than i do now.
Also, what I'm going to with master chief is make one new episode, then remake the first one. After that's done I'm going to resume working on the intro, which i drastically underestimated the time I would have to put into it. That officially marks the start of master chief season 2. As for brawlgasm, i don't have any really big plans for it as of now. I have a few episodes mapped, and one I'm rethinking, but none that I'm going "OMG THIS IS SUCH A GOOD IDEA I HAVE TO MAKE IT NAO!"

I'm currently borrowing madworld from my friend, and I've gotta say it's great fun. For the most part you're just running around murdering dudes in brutal ways. It uses the wii motion controls alright. Better than zelda at least, because it reads a horizontal verses a vertical slash, though in many cases misinturprets them or takes 3 seconds to register that you swung the wiimote. Still the slashing and punching mechanic generally does something around what you want it to do, though i don't like the "flick the nunchuck to dodge" thing. Combat gets a bit repetitive, but by far my favorite part of the game is doing the wiimote related execution kills. With the execution kills you basically grab a dude and there's a motion command that relates to what you do to his insides with your chainsaw, which generally amounts to little more than "move the wiimote in some way shape or form" but it's much more fun if you do what I do and physically mimic the action. These probably don't require nearly as much motion or perscision as i actually put into them, but if i'm playing a motion related game in which I get to rip out a guy's spine and impale him with it, I'm not just going to sit there and flick my wrists slightly. I wouldn't reccomend buying it, unless by now it's under 20 bucks, as the replayability is limited, but definitely give it a rent.

Future Projects and Shit
Alright, this summer I'm going to have a lot of free time. Recently Ive had a lot of college complications and projects and shit as the year is ending, and my cpu has been acting up rendering all my captured footage from the first episode of GMX7 like crap

Here's the deal. After the juggernaut that was "War" I no longer see simple halo machinima as some big time consuming thing. I'll probably go on a huge stint of Master Chief Series. This is mainly because Chief is really the only series that I'm not making up as I go along, and I've got like, 6 episode scripts for it, all of which I find to be comedic gold. I want to redo Return and Retard because I love the jokes but I feel that the execution and cinematography has kind of fallen back with the times and now i cant even watch them. I know I seem to be changing my mind and saying I'm going to do this and that a LOT and I apologize for that. So expect a lot more Chief. I've recently finished the extro and am working on the intro.

I'm still going to make adventures of GMX7, but i think I'm going to change the name to "I Am More Awesome Than You" because ironically it sounds like less of an ego masturbation. I'll also continue with Brawlgasm as soon as I can afford a new computer, because with this one it's just such a huge pain in the ass. This computer is from 2000 and chugs like shit. It's the reason why all the BGs before 8 look like crap cinemagraphically, and now i feel it's expected that brawl machinimas have complex angles and shit.

Fucking brawl machinima

Brawlgasm as a whole is going to go on hiatus... for a while. for a number of reasons.

1. My TV does not have an output, so i have to split the signal, resulting in worse quality from my already shit quality capture card, plus added to the wiis shitty graphical capacity, how much i have to zoom in on vegas to get widescreen, and the compressing i'll have to do for machinima's 100mb upload limit and you've got a whole lotta pixelated crap.
2. Texture hacks don't work on custom stages (this is essential for BG9. I physically cannot make it until a hack is made to fix this or a green/bluescreen texture hack is made on a standard stage)
3. At the moment my TV and my cpu aren't in the same room and my current CPU is a piece of shit, so i need a new computer to edit videos better, maybe a new capture card to improve the quality.
4. Right now I just feel really uninspired to do it, if you know what i mean. I like the MC series so much better, it comes out looking cooler, the characters are more relatable as opposed to BG's cast of flat characters that only do one thing over and over again.

Im probably just going through some emo phase or something right now, just, honestly, i dont feel like fucking doing it. If a hack comes out for SD card textures to work with my greenscreen custom stage, i'll finish BG9 and then wait until ive bought a better capture card, a new TV, and a new computer before making the next one.

I guess i'll start working on the new MC this week.

It's Finally fucking finished. This thing is a monster of awesome. the folder containing it (which doesnt have any of my voice recordings in it) takes up 46 gigabytes. Its got over 1300 film clips, tons of special effects awesome action, and a runtime of almost 19 minutes. I literally get chills when watching the climactic ending. It's a lot more action oriented than the others. It's probably got just as much humor in it as any other MC episode but its definitely spread out more. Remember the end of reload where he rips out the guy's skull and kills the other dude with it? the battle scene is basically 12 minutes of shit like that. I'm really hoping people will like it as I've been working on it since before graffiti. So be sure to rate it 5, favorite it, and send it to everyone because I worked my ass off on it. This is my masterpiece.

Sup. Im glad to announce that pretty much all the filming for MC: War has been finished. I don't know if I can get a preview out though, because the episode is very complex editing wise and if I made a preview, I would have to edit that portion of the video, so esseitially to make a preview i would have to edit bits and pieces of the video haphazardly and throw them together, which would take more time than it actually would take to edit the episode. It will probably be done by Monday, March 9th. After this episode is done episodes will be done a lot faster and I will NEVER do an action sequence again.

Solid Shenanigans is wierd. When I'm making it, I think "oh damn, this is going to suck" then when it's actually said and done, it turns out a lot better than i expected. Hey everyone.
Been chipping away at war. I'm about 85% done with the crazy over the top action sequence. Which is good, because I've been working on it since about a month before graffiti. But the last 25% is the easiest part and should be done soon. I really don't want this to fade into obscurity, so I'm working really hard to make it fucking AWESOME. (On a side note I will NEVER do an action sequence in halo again because it takes so fucking long) Hang in there. I know it's been taking a while, but I guarentee it will make you laugh AND blow your mind with sheer awesomeness.

So yeah. You might have noticed that I haven't been doing much recently. That's because of a few things. The holidays, Saints Row 2 (seriously, get this fucking game. It's like San Andreas on crack,) General laziness, and the construction of an intricate miniature bridge out of toothpicks that will hopefully be able to hold 100+ lbs. (I wish I was making that up) Between these things, I don't have much time to work on vids, and when I do, I would much rather spend it working on war than making shorter vids to keep you occupied.

So yeah, after this weekend, my schedual should free way the hell up. I don't know when war will be finished, but hopefully soon ^_^.

Yeah I know you haven't seen any major videos from me recently, so i thought i'de give you guys an update. Right now I'm working on a new episode of Master Chief. It's way over 10 minutes so i'll probably make it 2 episodes. Looking at the script I'm confident that this is the BEST THING I HAVE EVER WRITTEN and I really want it to turn out EXACTLY how i envisioned it. I'm not quitting Brawlgasm, nor am i out of ideas for it, but I'm really tired of making them so don't expect a new one for a while, especially with the gigantic fanservice that beans was. That's the thing, I think that the Master Chief series trumps Brawlgasm in every way, shape, and form, so it feels like I'm just making them as an act of fanservice. When I start up the new season, I will put much more effort into them. But the next episode of Master Chief, I'm really aiming to impress. oh, and the contest winners are finally in the fucking episode :P.

Why I hate Sonic

Alright, i logged on today, and i had about 40 messages asking me why I hate sonic.

If you really care, you'll read it all. If you don't care, ignore it and don't message me about it.

Let me start by saying I actually don't hate sonic, I find the voice and personality that he acquired after sonic adventure to be annoying. The old sonic games were great because he never said a fucking thing, and had a very mild mannered personality. But when sonic adventure came out he got a voice (he probably had one before that but my interest in sonic never expanded past the games) now, in order to appeal to the crowd of the ninetys they gave sonic a loud "I'm radical! Pay attention to me!" attitude, which was fucking annoying, and backed it up with a voice that fit the character, resulting in sonic being an awkward carbon copy of a ninja turtle, but without the blatant product placement. I thought, ya know, maybe it's just a phase that the developers are going through, but then when adventure 2 came out he got even MORE loud and annoying, which is where i really started to dislike the character. (plus, his 3d games suck)

So I basically ignored sonic for a while, and then I played about 5 minutes of the demo for the xbox 360 version about a year ago, and of all things, they made him EVEN MORE loud and annoying, and replaced his voice with someone MORE loud and annoying. I know there's some big controversy over his voice being replaced, but his old voice was almost as bad, and they are both extremely annoying. Then they put him in brawl, which i wasn't objecting to. But when i actually got him as a character, i found him to be overall useless except to be (here's a shocker,) extremely loud and annoying. and anyone who disagrees with that, play as sonic, and hit the right direction on the D pad. do it. right now.

So, the reason why I kick sonic's ass in brawlgasm, is because he makes a good "target character." I'm sure there's just as many people who like and dislike him (maybe even more who dislike him) and he's annoying. So, whenever i need a character to completely abuse, sonic is an easy choice, and being that he's so fast, it doesn't need to be established that he was there beforehand. He just pops up and annoys people, to get his ass kicked. I'm not one of those people who hates sonic and boycotts playing him in brawl. I just find him annoying and he is the most convenient target character.

TL;DR version: his voice is annoying and he makes a good "target character"
